Here is our boat, S/V Searaven, a Norseboat 17.5 beach cruiser.
Here, she is looking good at the dock at Sam’s in Tiburon, CA, last February.
Searaven voyages on the San Francisco, Monterey, and Tomales Bays.
Learn of her adventures and missions.
“And we sail and we sail and we never see land, just the rum in the bottle and a pipe in my hand…”

I love it. The boat is awesome. You should submit a photo to Openboat.co.nz.
Great to find another Explorer exploring! I’ve hull #48 in Media, PA (south of Philly) and have sailed on State Park lakes in PA and on the Chesapeake Bay; Elk River day trip and from Sandy Point to Rock Hall overnight.
The Rock Hall journey was 16-18 miles of (day 1) downwind sailing with reef in 17kts and gusting, 3 foot seas and (day 2) broad reaching in 15kts, 2 ft seas. The boat was awesome, keeping myself, my wife, and 4 1/2 year old dry and out of the sun (we used the bimini for 1st time).
Have fun
