We’ve written a few times about the lovely Marina, resident mermaid at the Wreck Bar, Fort Lauderdale, and headliner for Hukilau 2009 (link, link, link, link). Now, NSL is proud to declare January 2009 Marina the Mermaid Month, to share with our readers her fully submerged beauty and help promote her calender (see the link at upper right of page.) That should get our new year off to a great start! In her own words:
Underwater Mermaid and water ballet artist, Polynesian retro-pop style (tiki) and stunt implement bellydancer (fire dancing & eating, laying on a bed of nails, dance balanced on glasses & hand drums, even dancing on broken plates~ you get the idea…) Yup- I’m an underwater bellydancer as well. Polynesian dance background with several Polynesian groups including Teauilla’s Hawaii (Hawaiian Inn) & at the Mai-Kai for several years. Professional Exoticat.
